Summary
My personal background has led me to a career as a School Media Specialist as I have always been happiest when I am working for the good of others. Being able to serve beyond the classroom would help me reach that goal in a greater capacity. I have the intelligence, passion, vision, cooperative skills, and experience required to be an exceptional School Media Specialist. I do want to serve my entire school community; however, the population that I would feel most responsible for reaching would be the disenfranchised. I would never lose sight of my responsibility to provide the highest quality resources and dynamic programs that foster learning and creativity to the intrinsically motivated and high-achieving, but I would also want to focus on those currently underserved and in the most need of inspiration and instruction in order to become independent and lifelong learners.
